This policy explains how Kuantar ("we"), operated by PT Indo Smart Media, processes personal data of users of kuantar.online, the Kuantar app and the Kuantar Driver app, in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, phone number, e-mail, profile photo, password (stored hashed).
- Location data: pickup/destination points and, for driver-partners, real-time location while online or on a trip.
- Transaction data: orders, payments, wallet balance, bill-payment and shipping history.
- Driver-partner data: national ID number, licence number, photos of ID/licence/vehicle registration, selfie, vehicle and bank details — for verification and payouts.
- Conversations: in-order chats with drivers and conversations with the KuantarVA AI assistant (including visitors without an account) to answer questions and improve the service.
- Device data: IP address, device type, notification token.
2. Purposes
- Providing the service: matching the nearest driver, pricing, payments, notifications.
- Safety: partner verification, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
- AI assistance: KuantarVA uses your account context (e.g. name, active orders, balance) to give relevant, step-by-step guidance.
- Service improvement and promotional messages (you can opt out).
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only as needed with: the driver/merchant handling your order; our payment provider (Xendit); bill-payment provider (IAK); couriers via Biteship; OpenStreetMap map services; an AI service provider that processes your questions; notification, e-mail and WhatsApp providers; and authorities where required by law.
4. Security
HTTPS encryption; hashed passwords; AES-256 encryption for sensitive fields (ID numbers, bank accounts, API keys); private storage for partner documents accessible only to authorised admins; audited admin access.
5. Retention
Data is kept while your account is active and afterwards as long as required for legal, tax and dispute purposes (generally up to 5 years for transaction records).
6. Your rights
You may access, correct and delete your data, withdraw consent and object. Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or via the Delete Account page.
7. Children
The service is intended for users aged 17+ or under parental supervision.
8. Changes
Changes will be announced on the site/app. Continued use means you accept them.
